I have been curious about the Adventurers League. WotC is having the D&D Celebration 2021 and I decided to sign-up to play. This could make for an interesting introduction into AL.
Here is the description of the Adventurers League:
(from the WotC website)
The D&D Adventurers League is an ongoing official campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons rules, and features the Forgotten Realms setting. You can play D&D Adventurers League games literally anywhere. Players use the fifth edition rules to create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening.
Wanted to get all of the Damsels of Death & Destruction to join in, but two are unavailable that weekend. Only two of us will be playing. Lome and I decided on "Lost Things". I surprised her with the ticket to the game.

Table #210 - WBW-PR Lost Things
Sat, Sep 25, 7:00 PM
Like a half-forgotten dream, the Witchlight Carnival drifts into our world once every eight years, drawing folk of all ages to delight in its fey wonders. Entry without a ticket is strictly forbidden, and the consequences for trespass echo through time.
A 2-hour prelude adventure for players beginning The Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign. Play this before playing The Witchlight Carnival.
CONTENT WARNING: Fairytale abduction, magical charm.
A carnival theme seams interesting. This is going to be fun.
